Need-to-knows: Eastern Europe

I just returned from an amazing vacation in Europe, where my family and I ventured to Berlin and Prague. I plan on posting my photos to my Flickr account and tossing up at least one additional blog post, but here is my quick recap of Prague (and a subsequent generalization for all of eastern Europe).

What you need to know about eastern Europe:

Sausage. Everywhere. And, it is delicious.

Beer. Also everywhere. And, once again, I am not complaining. Yes, I will take another .5 liter.

Smoking. This time I am complaining. Yikes, it was impossible to avoid.

Burberry. Pants, scarves, jackets, purses – no matter what shape it took, Burberry is definitely the brand of eastern Europe. And, yes maybe I’m a bit jealous that I didn’t fit in.

So to sum it up: sausage, beer, smoking and Burberry. Make no mistake, Prague was definitely my favorite city of the two we visited, but these four items were all over, and thus became a theme of the vacation. Hope you all had a manageable week without me, and I am very happy to be back.
